Richard has 25 years of experience as an investor, financial advisor and entrepreneur. He has completed Penfund investments in the food, pet, industrial distribution and automotive aftermarket sectors. Prior to joining Penfund in 2003, Mr. Bradlow worked in the investment banking group at Scotia Capital. His work focused on private and public corporate clients across a variety of industries. Prior to joining Scotia Capital, Mr. Bradlow co-founded a successful retail and distribution business.
Richard has a BA (Philosophy) from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from Harvard University. He is a former Vice-Chair of the Board of Governors of The Bishop Strachan School where he also served as Chair of the Finance Committee and Co-Chair of the Development Committee. He is a former Director of The Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation and the Canadian Venture Capital Association.
Adam has 20 years of experience as a strategy consultant, investor and entrepreneur. He began his career as a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, where he provided strategic and operational consulting to Fortune 1000 companies. He later joined Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., where he was an equity analyst covering the media and publishing sectors. He then served as CEO of Excentia, a venture-capital backed e-learning and corporate training company that he co-founded. Immediately prior to joining Penfund, Adam was an investment professional at Imperial Capital, a mid-market oriented private equity fund.
Adam has a BA from McGill University and an MBA from the Wharton School.
Nicole has 14 years of financial experience across investment banking, private equity and private credit. Since joining Penfund in 2012, she has completed investments across a range of industries including healthcare, distribution, insurance brokerage and the automotive aftermarket. Nicole began her career in the investment banking division of Credit Suisse in San Francisco. She then joined Onex Partners, a large-cap oriented private equity fund, and subsequently worked in an investment management role at GRI Capital, a family office located in Toronto.
Nicole has an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Joe joins Penfund with over 20 years of experience gained from working at highly respected credit providers in Canada and the United States. Most recently, he established a Canadian office for Apollo Management and was responsible for Canadian credit origination in addition to certain coverage roles in the United States. Previously he worked at Macquarie Canada as Head of Leveraged Finance & Sponsor Coverage, at Fortress Investment Group as a Managing Director and at GE Capital as Vice President. Joe began his career with KPMG in the Assurance and Corporate Finance practices.
He holds the CPA designation and the Corporate Finance Qualification. He also holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a Minor in Economics at McMaster University.
Jeremy has over 20 years of private equity investing experience. He began his career working in the leveraged finance department of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York with a focus on senior and subordinated debt financing in a variety of industries. He later joined Oak Hill Capital Management, Inc. in New York, where he was responsible for private equity investments in the basic industry, consumer products, and retail and distribution sectors. Prior to joining Penfund, Jeremy spent more than 10 years with ONCAP Management Partners, the middle market private equity division of ONEX Corporation. While at ONCAP, Jeremy led transactions in the automotive aftermarket, renewable energy, education and business services sectors.
Jeremy has a BA (Honours) in Economics from Queens University.
Tony joined Penfund after spending several years at DRI Capital, most recently as Vice President, Fund Operations with responsibilities related to accounting, tax, treasury management and compliance. Prior to DRI, Tony worked for OMERS Private Equity as Controller. Tony has also held progressively senior operational management positions in the venture capital, financial custody and retail banking sectors. Tony holds a CPA, CMA designation and is a graduate of Wilfred Laurier University and the University of Western Ontario.
Mike joins Penfund after having spent six years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, most recently as a Vice President within the Leveraged Finance Investment Banking group in London. While at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Mike was involved in a number of sponsor-led financings and M&A transactions across a range of industries and geographic regions, including North America and Western Europe.
Mike has worked for financial institutions in Toronto, London, Boston and New York and has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
Matt joined Penfund in 2015. Prior to joining Penfund, he worked in the Investment Banking division at TD Securities. In this role, he was involved in M&A and financing transactions across a variety of industries.
Matt has a BBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and is a CFA charterholder.
Steve joined Penfund in 2016. Prior to joining Penfund, he worked as an analyst at a long/short equity hedge fund for two years where he was responsible for covering the industrial, healthcare and financial sectors as well as special situations. Prior to this, he worked in the Investment Banking division at TD Securities where he was involved in a variety of projects in the diversified industries space.
Steve has an MSc. Finance and BComm. from Queen’s University and is a CFA charterholder.
Francis joined Penfund in 2021. Prior to joining Penfund, Francis was the Director of Investment Accounting at a Toronto based private equity firm specializing in healthcare royalties. He also has extensive additional PE experience having served with several other Toronto based firms and Fund Administration service providers
Francis is a CPA, CMA and holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Ottawa.
George joined Penfund in 2016. Prior to joining Penfund, he worked at UBS where he provided accounting services to multiple private equity clients. Previously, he worked for three years at CITCO Fund Services as a hedge fund accountant where he was responsible for assisting with the completion of multiple services for a $5 billion hedge fund client.
George has a BA in Economics and Finance from McGill University and is a CFA charterholder.
Sean joined Penfund in 2020. With over 15 years of tax compliance and advisory experience, his most recent positions included: Senior Tax Manager in the Insourced Tax Solutions Group at PWC, Senior Tax Manager at GE Capital, and Tax Manager in KPMG’s Real Estate Group.
He is a CPA, CA and holds a Bachelor of Mathematics and a Diploma of Accounting from the University of Waterloo.
Jeremy joined Penfund in 2018. Prior to joining Penfund, he worked as a law clerk at the Court of Appeal for Ontario. Previously, he articled at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP and worked in leveraged finance at RBC Capital Markets.
Jeremy has a BA from Cornell University and a JD and MBA from the University of Toronto.
Tony joined Penfund in 2019. Prior to joining Penfund, he worked as an associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Financial Institutions Group at TD Securities. Tony has a BComm., Finance & Economics from University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management and is a CFA charterholder.
Tim joined Penfund in 2021. Prior to joining Penfund, he worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Moelis & Company in New York. While at Moelis, Tim advised financial sponsors and corporate clients on M&A and restructuring projects across a variety of industries.
Tim has a BComm. from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University.
Teresa joined Penfund in 2019. She supports both the Investment and Operations teams. Prior to joining Penfund, she provided administrative support to the Key Accounts executive team at JTI Macdonald Corp.
